Combinatorial Press is committed to making the manuscript submission process clear, accessible, and free of unnecessary technical barriers for authors. As part of our diamond open access publishing model, authors are not charged submission fees, article processing charges, publication fees, or formatting fees.
All journals published by Combinatorial Press require manuscripts to be prepared in LaTeX. Authors should submit a complete LaTeX-prepared manuscript, together with a compiled PDF version for review. The LaTeX file does not need to be formatted exactly according to the final journal layout at the initial submission stage. Authors may use any standard academic LaTeX format, provided that the manuscript is complete, readable, and suitable for editorial assessment and peer review.
After acceptance, Combinatorial Press provides free production support to prepare the manuscript according to the final journal style. This may include copyediting, LaTeX formatting, typesetting, reference style adjustment, figure and table placement, and preparation of the final published version. These services are provided free of cost to authors.
The copyediting and formatting process is intended to improve presentation, consistency, and journal style. It does not change the scientific content, results, conclusions, or meaning of the paper. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, ethical compliance, and scholarly quality of their work.
Online Submission Assistance
Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts through the online submission system of the relevant Combinatorial Press journal. However, authors who are unable to complete the online submission process because of technical difficulties, file upload issues, internet access problems, or unfamiliarity with the system may request free submission assistance.
In such cases, authors may send the compiled PDF of the manuscript and the LaTeX source files to the Managing Editor of the relevant journal. The editorial staff will assist by submitting the manuscript through the online submission system on behalf of the author for administrative processing.
When requesting submission assistance, authors should include the following information:
- Journal name
- Manuscript title
- Full names, affiliations and email addresses of all authors
- Corresponding author name and email address
- Compiled PDF version of the manuscript
- LaTeX source file
- BibTeX file or reference file, where applicable
- Figure files, tables, and supplementary files, where applicable
- A short statement confirming that all authors have approved the submission
The editorial office may contact the corresponding author if any required files or information are missing.

Submission assistance is an administrative support service only. It does not influence editorial screening, peer review, acceptance, rejection, or publication decisions. All manuscripts submitted with staff assistance are handled according to the same editorial policies, peer review standards, ethical checks, and publication requirements as manuscripts submitted directly by authors through the online system.
