The article titled “Combinatorial Proof of the Girard–Waring Formula” [1] was originally submitted to Ars Combinatoria and accepted for publication. Due to a breakdown in communication at the time, the author believed the journal was inactive and subsequently requested withdrawal of the manuscript, unaware that it had already been published. The author then submitted the work to Contributions to Discrete Mathematics [2], with a note indicating its prior submission and withdrawal from Ars Combinatoria. The paper was accepted and formally published by Contributions to Discrete Mathematics. At the author’s request, the version published in Ars Combinatoria [1] is now considered retracted in favour of the Contributions to Discrete Mathematics publication.
