We initiate the study of signed edge majority total domination in graphs. The open neighborhood of an edge in a graph is the set consisting of all edges having a common vertex with . Let be a function on , the edge set of , into the set . If for at least half of the edges , then is called a signed edge majority total dominating function of . The value , taking the minimum over all signed edge majority total dominating functions of , is called the signed edge majority total domination number of and denoted by . Obviously, is defined only for graphs which have no connected components isomorphic to . In this paper, we establish lower bounds on the signed edge majority total domination number of forests.
