Computing the Kirchhoff Index of Linear Phenylenes

Abstract

The Laplacian eigenvalues of linear phenylenes $P{H}_n$ are partially determined, and a simple closed-form formula for the Kirchhoff index of $P{H}_n$ is derived in terms of the index $n$.
